Service Times

Service times

St. Stephen’s and St. Julian’s churches have a varied range of services for all ages. These are run both live and online. Please see the list below for regular services and the News and Events page for details of special services and events.
Contact us ([email protected]) for details of our Parents Group and Bible study groups which we hope to re-start when this becomes possible.

The services running in our churches are shown as live services in the list below. We will continue to make available some online recorded and live-streamed services, and some of our live services are also available online. Links to the next few online services are listed below. Links to all recent recorded services can be found on the Parish YouTube channel

Here is the Service Sheet with readings for the week, Together in Prayer and the current Order of Service (for Ordinary Time.

You can have the weekly Service Sheet sent to you by email – contact [email protected]

For the three morning Sunday Services for the foreseeable future, pre-booking will be necessary to maintain social distancing. If you have not yet expressed a preference for the serice you wish to attend, please contact the Parish Office. Note that you will be asked to wear a face covering (unless you are exempt).
For Track and Trace purposes, you are asked to leave contact details and to sign a form to give your consent for this to be retained for 21 days (but you only need to do this once for each church).
If you are attending live services and have the new NHS Test & Trace app on your mobile phone, please ‘check in’ as you arrive with the QR codes available at each church. This enables the app to log where you’ve been and can notify the church if you subsequently contract Covid (the app will automatically let the church know if you log a positive Covid result on the app).

We are starting to use the service of Daily Prayer from the Church of England’s website : you may find this link and the link on it to the Daily Prayer app useful.

A streamed service of Compline (Night Prayer) is available for you to access whenever you like: the link is here and the Order of Service here.
